Final projection.

Dear Art Enthusiasts

Today was the last day for the projector, me and my awesome family, helped me out last night with getting down the essentials of my design.

The next day I worked to give her more shape and dimension to the areas of importance.  Still working to iron out the girl with the head phones but she is moving along nicely.  I am trying to develop the painting as a  unit and not get too bogged down with to ornate details  as a mural she needs to be seen from far away.  so looked on as a whole.

Tightening the mural: Gladstone

Well today was defining the mural on Gladstone more,  esepecially the hands, face of the sculpture woman, and the logo.   I need a little more time on the large girl with the headphones, to soften out her features.  I am happy with the progress overal.

Rainy days: Janis Joplin

Dear Art Enthusists

Rainy days have halted the progress on the mural so I have kept my self busy working on a commissioned piece of Janis Joplin.

She is coming together.

Projecting the mural

Dear Art Enthusiasts

Last night, we started the mural, on Gladstone in Windsor Ontario.  My Amazing husband helped me project my image to my wall.  This image is the complete mural.

We were not able to project the whole image last night, all but it is a start., all but it is a start.

This morning I worked on strengthening her bones to create dimension.

Prep work: New Mural on Gladstone

Today was finishing the prep work for a new mural on Gladstone road in Windsor.   I was concerned at the mortar gaps between the bricks.

this will be the new site for the garage door theater.

Updating the co-op wall

Dear Art Enthusiast

Today I updated my wall at the Co-op at 1974 Wyandotte St E, Windsor, ON.

I re-touched my painting of Chere (to giver her a  different feel), added Wonder Woman to round out the female variety and included my 3D cartoon piece Alure, to add a little something diffrent.

Essex Wall Mural Finally done

Today was the last day for the Wall Mural for Essex.   I was able to hand her off to David Creed: who is another artist who is going to develop the panels for the wall.  He will use the canvases to create the prints on metal sheets, based on the canvases I just  completed.

Art attack Windsor is heading up this project, and provided me with this opportunity.  Special thanks go out to Jill Thompson who is my contact and personal advocate for this project.

Billie holiday

Well I am very attracted to paintings that make us feel something.  This painting of the singer Billie holiday says something on her face that we all can relate to.
